Emily-Jane is a triple threat - singer, songwriter & musician. Growing up listening to artists like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey she was inspired by music and began playing the piano at an early age. Emily-Jane has continued to grow musically exploring her creative side through writing, singing and performing.

Alongside her own career as an independent artist she has also been working as a session singer, being invited to work on a variety of projects from live shows to recordings and television broadcasts. During this time she has had the opportunity to work with the likes of pop legend Eros Ramazotti on tour and sing at a wide range of venues from the Royal Albert Hall to Jazz Cafe. Other projects have included recording the charity tribute song ‘We Will Remember Them’ at Abbey Road studios and participating in Carols With the Stars and Britain Sings Christmas broadcasted on ITV.

A chance meeting with R’n’B/Hip Hop producer Danate who has enjoyed radio exposure on stations such as Radio 1, Choice FM and Kiss FM led to a few collaborations. Realising their obvious musical chemistry the pair began recording on a regular basis producing what would eventually become Emily-Jane's debut album, yet to be titled. Having worked together for the last couple of years writing, creating and recording, their style of R’n’B/Pop developed. Now with Danate featuring on Emily-Jane’s lead track ‘System Overload’, they are excited about sharing their collaborative efforts and with the album nearly complete presenting you with a fresh dynamic sound.

As interest begins to grow from management and labels, 2011 promises to be a big year.
